We produce a lot of wiring harnesses for different customer applications, all of which needs to be tested before final shipping.

We have developed a new automatic cable testbench, named ACT. The ACT automatically generates test sequences for new cables.

The ACT ensures that all wires in a harness are correctly connected, and also verifies that diodes and resistors in wire harnesses are correctly mounted.

After a successful test, the test result is stored in our database along with a product number and serial number, the ACT then generates a label which is attached to each cable for traceability purposes.

The ACT is built on a modulur platform, where new connector adapters can be manufactured to suite new connector types.
